This page explains the right of withdrawal for purchases from Art3Deco.com, operated by PARADOX PROJECT LTD, and our additional cancellation option before production.

1. Withdrawal period and how to exercise your right

Consumers in Bulgaria and other EU countries may withdraw from purchases of non-personalised products without giving a reason within 14 days of the day on which they, or a third party designated by them other than the carrier, receive the goods. For goods from one order delivered separately, the period starts upon receipt of the last item.

To exercise your right, send a clear statement to contact@art3deco.com, send a letter to the address below or use the online ‘Withdraw from contract here’ function. It is accessible from the site footer and this page without registration. Using the online form is not mandatory. It is sufficient to send your statement before the period expires; prior approval from the store is not required.

2. Personalised products

The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal without a reason does not apply to goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised, for example using a personal photo, custom model, name, inscription or individual design. They cannot be returned solely because of a change of mind. Rights concerning defects, non-conformity or incorrectly executed personalisation remain unaffected. Production after ordering or choosing between standard catalogue options does not automatically make a product personalised.

3. Cancellation before production

We additionally allow cancellation of an order, including personalised products, if we receive the request before production starts and before dispatch. Email contact@art3deco.com immediately with the order number and state that you request cancellation before production. When these conditions are met, we refund the payment received for the order. After production starts, this voluntary option no longer applies to personalised items. Statutory rights concerning defects and withdrawal rights for non-personalised products are not restricted.

4. Returns and delivery costs

Send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before it expires. The customer bears the direct return costs for products without defects. We reimburse the initial standard delivery costs where required by applicable law. We do not reimburse the surcharge for a more expensive delivery method chosen instead of the least expensive standard delivery offered by the store.

Return the products securely packaged. You are only liable for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Contact us for return instructions; this is not a condition for the validity of a statutory withdrawal.

5. Reimbursement

We reimburse payments received without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being notified of a statutory withdrawal. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence of their return dispatch, whichever occurs first. We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree to another method without additional costs to you.

6. Defective, damaged or incorrect products

For a justified complaint concerning a defect, damage, non-conformity or incorrectly executed personalisation, we bear the necessary costs of return to us and dispatch of the repaired or replacement product to the customer. The remedy — repair, replacement, price reduction or termination and reimbursement — is determined by the consumer's statutory rights. Send the order number and a description of the problem to contact@art3deco.com. Photos of the product and packaging help, but do not restrict your statutory rights or time limits.
